SOTY Karaoke

Published: November 24, 2010

Organizing the equipment for the Four Stages of SOTY.

Confusion.

Surprise.

Gradual acceptance.

Joyful embrace.

We re-trace our gambit for the Templetons.

Matt B arrives.

Celebratory dinner at the meat restaurant.

The Templetons, shortly before ducking out to go to Chipotle.

It was like an edible zoo - a parade of impaled creatures from around the globe.

No meal is complete without this photo.

Victory at the Karaoke bar.

Austin celebrates with a cigar.

Jimmy recreates his Dick Moves opener in a bit of impromptu performance art.

Phelper barfed. So what?

Trust me, there is nothing that would delight Deanna more than to be barfed near or upon.

Straight to biz.

Leo nailed it right out of the gate - SOTY style.

Charms took a big risk with an Orbison - a gamble that paid off in spades.

Schmitty put his Skate Rock roadie time to the test, also bringing the sonic pain.

Shoving Jake into the ladies room.

Jake crossed genres with Beat It. Not bad.

Lots of affection with this bunch.

Fred made it.

Leo signed Ed up for a song, causing him to go hide in the car.

Deanna promised to try to coax him out.

Ed was terrified to get up and sing, shocking considering I think we've all seen his dong at some point.

A duet with Josh was the perfect way to ease into it.

Matt B follows suit.

Schmitty's next number was a smash.

The SOTY was so moved he jumped up there to help him shut it down.

Slow number. Couples only.

Energized by his first taste of the stage, Ed coaxed Deanna up for a duet of Devil Went Down to Georgia.

All hesitation - gone!

While trying an aggresive foot-on-speaker stance, Ed slipped out and sacked himself on the monitor before falling into the crowd.

He followed up with a few stage dives.

Then the whole place exploded into a whirling dervish of do-si-do-ing. It was a triumphant moment.

And to the winner  ..... goes the spoils. Congrats, Leo. Thanks, bros.
