Oakland Skatepark

Fresh 'crete has been poured in the East Bay. If you've got the guts, venture into East Oakland and enjoy the new street plaza at the Youth Uprising center. A few Street Corner heads rolled through yesterday for a test drive.

1
There's a new park in East Oakland.  Although it's on the youth center premises, the neighborhood that surrounds it is a little...rough.  Not for the faint of heart

2
Jaky is the manager behind the movement. The official inauguration is yet to be announced

3
Inside we found Corey, Cairo, Cody McEntire, Russ Milligan, Adrian Williams, Jeremy Reeves, Lee Yankou, and Danny Fuenzalida

4
Cairo, back noseblunt on the marble hubba

5
Cody Mac switch flips the bank to bank

6
This park is bound to produce some rippers

8
Russ Milligan feasts on the metal ledges galore that surround the quaint flower bed and seating area

9
Duffel said the euro sucks. There's three to choose from

10
A quality bar, good for the pre-street rail session and a Reeves classic

11
Lee Yankou decides to go upstream

12

13
Cairo and Corey duo, holdin' down the East Bay

14

15
It's good inspiration for the kids

16
They couldn't be happier
