RIP Beastie Boys' MCA, 1964-2012

Straight from the streets of Brooklyn and NYC, a '78 hardcore band morphed into the most successful rap group of all time—spawning Carroll's classic Questionable soundtrack, ramps in the recording studio, the Milarepa fund, Oscilloscope Pictures, and this year, an introduction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. If ever there was an example of someone making the most of talent and opportunity, it was Adam Yauch. Thanks for puttin' it all on wax.
