Classics: Navs and Hitz "This Axe..."

If some vids are "underground," then 2003's "This Axe Was Made to Grind" is the center of the Earth. Navarrette sinks his teeth into all transitions and Hitz shows his wide and wild pool lines.

It's hard to imagine footage like this getting "lost", but things happen. When Ewan Bowman told us he was working on a never-before-seen part of Bastien we were stoked, but the final product is heavier than we ever could have imagined.

Any town you film in, big or small, will reflect differently in the footage. The spots and vibe will always be unique. These vids do a great job of capturing SF.

Dustin Dollin graces the cover of the September issue, screeching a hellacious 180 nosegrind at the Hollywood Bowl. The hits keep coming inside: Matt Bennett, Jake Donnelly and Wes Kremer get grilled; Element traverses Taiwain; Vol 4 hits the road (and the spliffs) for SXSW; a 16-page photo feature blows some stoke in your eyes; EMB OG James Kelch talks Classic Graphics and Cory Kennedy talks some shit. Yeah, that'll do it. Add this one to your collection.
