Title: Skate shoe trouble
Post by: rory murphy on June 17, 2013, 05:09:29 PM
Hey, i need some help with my shoes. Ive had a couple of pairs of shoes since i started skating, went through the soles of Lakai Marc's ( lasted 2 months, cant complain ) then bought a pair of Etnie marana's, went through the sole in 3 weeks. now skating Adidas Busenitz Vulcs and its been about a week or two and the sole is flat. i dont really foot shuffle, i more hop onto my position ( well try ) so im really looking for a shoe with a good sole or any techniques i should take into consideration when skating. i really need to fix this problem, i just cant keep the soles on my shoes :(

This happens to me too. I just stopped using grip tape, I'll let you know how it goes.

it is a fact that shoe soles wear out when subjected to continuous rubbing on sandpaper.  as you progress, it gets worse.  deal with it, or quit. i mean, buy the MJ's again. you even said that they lasted you the longest.
