Title: Introducing myself
Post by: GC on July 13, 2013, 10:49:08 PM
Hey folks. I'm a skater from Philadelphia, PA, and I've been skateboarding since 1990. I haven't posted on any skateboarding message boards since the old days of UseNet. I'm kind of crippled -- partially paralyzed on one side -- but I've persevered through the years and get stronger all the time. I like to skate anything and everything, but I really suck at flip tricks. I'm putting a lot of effort into learning them right now.

Here are some injuries I'm dealing with at the moment:

Partial paralysis on the left side
Scoliosis in the hips
A squashed Achilles' tendon in the right foot
And I slammed my left glute (ass muscle) so badly three or four weeks ago, that it instantly turned hard as a rock.

So with that, hi everybody!

What's up man? Good luck fighting your injuries and with those flip tricks. Keep on putting in work.
