Title: TV's SUCKIN'
Post by: Schmitty on December 18, 2007, 03:06:54 PM
Is it just me, or should we all just cancel cable until the writers strike is over? There's no shows on, it's all re-runs and not even the late night shows (Daily Show, Colbert, Letterman etc) are on... It's killin' my epic couch time. Netflix and Blockbuster are probably making a killing though.

We're working on it... Did you see the Fixed Push show?

Also, look at this trailer (http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.Channel&ChannelID=190403521)... Can you find Toad?

I don't watch tv except for some anime and robot chicken, so I haven't noticed.

I'm sick of watching reruns. There's been plenty of news in the last month or so that the Daily Show or The Colbert Report could have ridiculed. But since TV network heads
won't stop being greedy bastards, I'm stuck watching re-runs. Someone should start a petition to get the greedy bastards to agree to the writer's terms.

theres only a handful of shows that i actually like nowadays.

LOST is pretty good.  i've been watching it from the beginning and i've been hooked ever since.  the new season is moving at a snails pace but thats only cause i'm thirsting for more.

24 is always good even though jack bauer is always outnumbered but ends up killing 30 people and saving the day.  unfortunately, the new season still hasn't aired.

Breaking Bad on AMC is really good.  i thought at first it was going to be totally stupid, i mean meth dealer drama, come on.  but i kept seeing commercials for it and eventually watched the first 3 episodes and liked it alot.  so far so good.

thats pretty much it outside of stuff on the history, discovery, and nat geo.

Lost, Breaking Bad, the Daily Show, The Colbert Report, and Family Guy (when there's a new one) are what get me on the couch

I used to be a TV addict, but now I don't have the time. I slave away all day on the damn computer. After work I skate a few times a week. I have to do housework and hang out with my old ladyand entertain her kid. If I have any free time at night I try to play my guitar for a couple minutes. Since I stare at a computer all day I would rather go wandering through the hills or neighborhood than stare at another screen. I love South Park, though and look forward to the new seasons.
