Title: Best Rap Song Used In A Video Part
Post by: Alien Sweatshop on March 02, 2009, 07:16:00 AM
Not necessarily the best rap song lyrically, just a catchy/memorable rap song that flowed well with a video part.

Mike Carroll - Modus Operandi
Mike Carroll - Yeah Right VHS
Koston - Fully Flared (the second song)
Kalis and Dyrdek - DC Video
Old Dirty Gerwer - Cash Money Vagrant

I'm not really into rap or Jamie Thomas, but this is one of my all time favorite parts.

On a side note, I have a friend who lost a bet and had to get a "Chomp On This" tramp stamp.

He still reps it.  Could have been worse I suppose.

2 things...

1. as much as ive never been a fan of the man, dyrdeks part in the dc video was a sick song... know the ledge by eric b and rakim... basically any eric b and rakim song is awsome

2. a chomp tramp stamp is like a badge of honor in my book

I was not present when the bet actually took place, but I believe it was a straight up high card draw with the loser getting a tramp stamp previously chosen by their opponent.  "Chomp on this" with Pac Man as the "C" and 8-bit graphic letters was one tattoo option and a characature of Cher with the time machine from Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (with a subscript reading "If I could turn back time...") was the alternative.  The dude who lost was real cool about it and got that shit done the next day as promised.  I will see if I can dupe him into letting me score a photo of it, but I doubt it will happen as he knows I rep the Thrasher boards.  As for the size, full tramp stamp status.  Probably a foot in length, maybe 3 or 4 inch high letters.  Black and gray, no color.  Needless to say, alcohol was the main character of this entire after school special.
