Title: D.O.A. Punk Documentary
Post by: C H U C K on March 03, 2009, 02:17:47 PM
10 parts.........

Interesting documentary takes you back in time to the early days of punk movement! Focus is on the first U.S. tour (1978) of the Sex Pistols. Other groups shown are Dead Boys, Generation X (with Billy Idol), Rich Kids, X-Ray Spex, Sham 69, Terry and the Idiots with additional music from The Clash, Iggy Pop and Augustus Pablo. Includes famous interview of Sid and Nancy in bed.

No. A lot of footage of the Pistols first US tour. And some killer live footage of other bands of the era.

Punk Rock history started before 73-74. How about Link Wray and his Ray Men?  But the "punk" attitude started so far back. What about the rasta influence.
