Title: WARNING: Habitat decks
Post by: XANAXscateborder on December 15, 2009, 10:09:31 AM
They suck, worst $40 ive ever spent. This deck has a horrible shape and no pop at all. I had a decent experience with alien workshops in the past but this deck flat out sucks, I hope I snap it soon. Id rather ride a shop deck.

Why is this dude still on the board? From what I've seen over the last couple of weeks, all he does is troll...

I don't even dig what he's all about. His sig was a deranged fat kid with assorted narcotics, female buttocks and skateboard arranged around it, with the words "I like" in Spanish.

It's like he's that one cockroach that refuses to die.

I'd like to see you say that to his face. He, Curren Caples, and Marrisa will be on you so fast. He knows them you know that, right?  ;)

All you need to do is stand on a deck once to detect those conditions. Obviously, you can't do that when you order over the internet, only when you buy from a local shop. (... AHEM ...)

I've had a Habitat board. Nothing special, but they're fine. The problem is you.

Indeed. XANAXhousewife needs to actually stand on a board to feel it out.  Who buys a board without standing on it first?  Kook.

midwest old guy punk rock nerd alert! (aka chuck and bryce)

in that flick, joe is supposed to be from iowa, and wears a house of large sizes shirt in a couple scenes. the wardrobe department in that film really did their job.

They contacted my buddy Jake Wisley who ran Red Decibel records at the time and asked him to send props. I'm pretty sure there are Season To Risk stickers and posters in the flick too.

thanks. i had always wondered about that. i noticed the STR stuff, but figured since they were on the brink of really big things at the time, it was placement by their management or something.

I never bothered to watch that movie.  A musical with cockroaches and the fat kid from Stand By Me never really piqued my interest.
