Real, Anti-Hero, Creature & Consolidated

Nobody will ever beat the art direction of the 90's.  Everyone has lost their sense of humor.

I agree...there seems to be too many team series decks these days...but Chocolate still manages to pull off really nice ones. Also, Anti-Hero, Alien Workshop, and Krooked. Anti-Hero has the best ads.

Already been said, but I've always liked Krooked and Anti-Hero boards. Pretty much all the Deluxe companies have sick artists. Gewers "frank" board was pretty funny. I haven't seen Sieben's new boards yet. Who does the Anti-Hero ads anyway?

Heroin always has some quality art.  French did a run of decks called "Dark Forest" or something that was really cool.  I have the Deer Man of Dark Woods deck from that series on my wall.

that sarcastic edge is definitely missing from the 90's.

it would be nice to get a little bit of that back.

is bratrud doing any deck graphics anymore? the stuff he did for consolidated was the best.

this is my favorite graphic he did though (for roots skateboards):

Dude, he's gotta step up the self-confidence.  And the graphics.  Bueno had some sick stuff, and I dig some of the stuff, but do they really expect people to ride the board with the mummy on it?

- I like Zero's older stuff, bold series, punk series, skull decks, it sucks that it seems they won't be doing that black bold 8.25 board anymore, not on their website.
- Toy Machine always has some sick graphics
- Real and Anti*Hero
- Old Baker stuff
- Consolidated used to have some sick stuff, the karma giving tree was epic
- Black Label always delivers, top shelf!.

Has anyone ever bought one of those boards?

Mystery's black and white/bordered look is amazing.  Not a huge Black Box fan, though...

I don't know but I wonder if they sell those shirts. The "don't do it" shirt is pretty funny too.

But to stay on topic, I like creature's graphics although I've never tried the boards.

I'm down with Creature, they're over the top...they get a lot of hate here, though.  Their boards are cardboard.
