Goddamn that looks fun. My friends and I had an 84 foot wide mini and it was the raddest thing of my life. You could skate in one direction for days. The plan was to bowl one of the ends like you guys did but the ramp met its demise before that ever came to be. Shit.

My dream skatepark would have a mini ramp in the shape of a quarter-mile track. You could just skate in circles for days!

I miss read the title I thought it said wildest... MY DAMN LEARNING DISABILITIES!

I would call it the longest mini. I blogged it. Apparently the DIY post are big in Japan, now I can sing the song with pride.

Can't wait to see some footy too!

Hey Bucky, have you ever skated the Grand Forks skatepark? There is a wonderful replica of the cract pipe, in concrete. It's definitely tighter, but it's the first bowl I ever skated and still my favorite. The bowl in Nelson is also pretty similar. I don't know if it's true, but I've heard it was built from the cract pipe remnants?

Haven't been to the Grand Forks park but the section you're talking about looks awesome. And yeah, the cractpipe was broken up and grabbed by different people/places; some of it did end up in Nelson so you're spot on with that. Are you in Nelson? I used to live there before Van and went to the indoor all the time.
