I am new here, just wondering if there were any salt lake heads out here with any ideas about any diy spots. I recently found a ditch, me and some homies put a flat bar and a cinder block ledge in. It is a pretty good spot, and we are planning on putting some more stuff in there soon, but winter is coming, and we are looking for an under the bridge spot to start building. If any one has any information, let me know.

Also, what is the deal on parking blocks, is there some special way to get them to your spots that you guys would recommend, or do you just have to man up and get a couple friends to help you carry them. Those bastards are heavy.

I wish I had alien technology! I just use helicopters to haul them in.

Where"s the pictures of the ditch spot Skeketor? We would like to see it.

I would think that a bridge spot would be bitter cold in a Utah winter. Every bridge I have skated has always been cold and this is on the west coast.

Right now I'm trying to convince every one I know to lease a building for winter... no takers yet...

P.S. you can put parking blocks on the bottom of shopping carts or on furniture dollies

You can build some more stuff under 600North bridge. The jersey barrier could use some work , there are massive parking blocks and a manny pad/curb that is slick... Where's the ditch, maybe I will suprize you and build something there.

Oh yeah I have skated that under the bridge spot, it could definitely use some work. I don't know what I would put there though, seeing as it is a parking lot/ commonly used road. The ditch is on Old Bingham Highway and about 4500 west, it is next to a trax station between the houses and the dirt sound wall.

Krusher, I am assuming you are from SD, just out of curiosity do you know Tosh Rice?

I was just wondering, he has been killing the photo game pretty hard out here. He comes skating with us and shoots quite a bit of photos, but I don't know if he posts them anywhere or not.

Good to hear!

He used to have Tosh's Corner and ESPN but I think those are on the back burner. Can't wait to see what's next from Tosh.

P.S. You don't have a camera phone to take a pic of your spot?
