Hi I have a project that I would love to get everyones feedback on:

I'm a web developer by profession. Spend my free time in my garage/shop and handcraft jewelry (rings, earrings, belt buckles) from broken skateboard decks.

The aim of my teams project is to build a focused “Etsy” style marketplace specifically for merchants (artists and woodworkers) to sell handcrafted furniture, sunglasses, jewelry, art pieces, money clips, skateboards and so much more all made out of broken and recycled (salvaged) skateboards.

- Salvaged Skateboard Shop -

we’ve launched an Indiegogo campaign to help raise the funds to get this project of the ground.  I would love to get feedback from a magazine that sees a lot of everything skateboard related. If you like the idea, pros, cons, ways to promote it etc.

I’ve been in contact with hundreds of artists that are excited about the idea and will be helping me to promote the campaign next week including 20 of them that are donating perks for the campaign.

You can find out a bit more on the website: http://salvagedskateboard.com/

Thanks again for taking the time to read this.
