I know a lot of you play...so what's yer baby?
Here's my main gigger:

I put on some grover tuners and replaced the epi pick-up with a
gibson dog-ear p-90...she does pretty good and I put it together
on a budget, really like to get a gibson but I don't have a grand
laying around to blow on guitars....I'm thinking about buying a
fender strat that needs some work off a buddy to tinker with during
my downtime in the snow season....I have a few other guitars my
grandfather left me but don't really play with them much, one is
a 56 les paul with p-90s and an epi sheraton.  I bring em out every
so often when Im feeling saucy, but mostly they stay in their cases.

I have a custom made England mandolin.  A-model with oval cut hole and flatwound strings for a good jazz/swing sound.

this is my bass.

as a matter of fact-- yes, there are extra tuning pegs on the bottom. that's because it has eight strings.

Electric wise, an American Strat and Tele. Haven't done shit to them because I don't feel I need to. Thought about putting a Bigsby on the Tele, but I dunno. I didn't exactly plan on spending that much money just to drill into it. But I'd like to get a Roland pickup for one of the beaters laying around. Those are fun to mess with.

Got a few Oscar-Schmidt 12 strings and Norman acoustics. They're supposed to be the Canadian Martins. The Norman is nice, ceder body and has a really warm tone. It smells like a wood shop when I take it out of the case. But the necks been warping on me. Tweaked the rod a bit but its still going down and the actions going up. Kinda bummed on that. It used to feel like you were playing an electric. Still waiting on the shop to get in their new classicals.

Picked up a banjo and mandolin a few months ago. I've always wanted to learn how to play mandolin, and I'm having fun so far. My banana hands feel way to fucking big for it though.

Thinking about getting a bass.

Still have my old Saxophone that I used to band geek with through school. That's always fun to play when I get sick of strings.

bailgun, that bass is bananas, son! I don't think I've ever even heard an 8 string bass

56 les paul? that must be worth a pretty penny.

I have:

-a black/white strat
-a cream colored strat knockoff that cost me 70$ and an eight of weed
-a fairly nice handmade acoustic (most expensive instrument I have)
-just picked up a classical the other day
-a couple other cheap, shitty acoustics that I've acquired over time

I could put my wish list here too but the post might get loooonng.

that's fucking awesome. never ever sell it. and if you ever do hit time hard enough that you absolutely have to sell it for some reason, don't take less that ten grand for it. tewnty ifits near mint.. you could probably use the motherfucker as collateral on a car loan.

I've found 56's on ebay before up to $25,000 and there is a kind of
battered one on there now for like $13,000
