PHelps is so awesome! This was hot...
I do have to question the Stuart Way thing, though. Curious what year that would've been... I watched people do that in either 1983 when we were there for the first street contest or very soon after that. But Stuart Way slips my memory so I could be wrong.

Sorry to be so late but I just stumbled into this.  Must be some other Stuart Way you're talking about, although there aren't many of us.  I never could ollie anything, but I did compete at Signal Hill in the skatecar (or modified) division in 1978.  And my name is Stuart Way.  Obviously I didn't win, but I did complete all my practice runs and heats, which was better than about a third of the field that day.  Didn't go to Med school either.  Thanks again to UFO for the cherce wheels and bearings.
