I thought they canned it for being "too dark".

I guess not.

I was playing COD:WOW & I told this one guy to stop being a little bitch. Well, I wasn't aware that this douche lived down the street and he busted into my friend's place & pulled a gun on us. The fucker didn't realize that he was outnumbered so we took his gun & threw his ass out.

I am really stoked on this movie because like others said, this story was one of my favorite books as a kid and it'll be amazing to see how it looks on the big screen!

on a semi-related note, i saw spike jonze lurking on the skatepark in downtown manhattan with his new boo, michelle williams, last week. i pointed him out to someone and they responded with "who's spike jonze?"

Man, simplicity is key. Imagine how hard it would have to be to write an American classic in 10 sentences. Sendak knew what was up. Dr. Seuss was super good at that. Isn't green eggs and ham written using only 50 different words or something?

Does anyone remember "Falling Up" by Shel Silverstein?

Ah, Spike Jonze and his style are so awesome, I'd trust him with anything.

HA DAVE EGGERS help write the screenplay...this is the most hipster film EVER!  Can't wait.
