skating pools?  what a revolutionary concept.

I don't think the "article" said there was anything revolutionary about it.   Other than its just the sign of the times.

It happened in the 70s too...when it WAS revolutionary to skate a pool with clay wheels and a 4 inch wide board....yes...revolutionary.

The only point they were making and I'm saying the whole point of it was....when there's a recession you can skate more shit.......pools....spots that can't afford security, etc....it all connects.

Just sayin.

I'm just saying this isn't anything new and didn't really need to be documented.

Strange...I've never seen a clip about skating pools in Fresno.   Not to say its not out there.

I looked at ajdamit.org or whatever.....I don't think you can say..with validity..... what needs and doesn't need to be documented.

Haha.  We know the shit we film is retarded..nothing about is supposed to be taken even remotely seriously.  Just good times for now,and if you're into it you're into it.  If not, that's cool, too.

I don't know about Fresno specifically, I just thought all the "info" in this clip was a given.

That's cool.   So wherever you're from you're just "swimming" in the number of pools (no pun) you have?   So much that you can choose to skate 10 different ones at one time?Huh?

I seriously doubt you "knew" that was the case....even in you're home town.    Which might not be the case.

I don't think that clip was filmed for anything else other than the same thing you've filmed you're none landed flat ground and manuals on flat.........FUN.    That's right....pools....skating and searching for them......ah.....forget it.

Yeah, that clip SCREAMED "fun"...and I don' t know what manual and flat ground shit you're talking about.

Kid, I don't care enough to debate this, honestly.  Agree to disagree.  Sealed, stamped, case closed.   Thanks.

Oh don't get me wrong...the news guy is terrible.    I think I'm more stoked on the fact that I live near Fresno and apparently have more appreciation for an empty pool.   I have my blinders on to how bad the segment can  be.

I read an article on it a while back. Still cool, or not, depending on what side of the monetary scale you are on.

I've only skated one real pool. 12 foot deep end and super tight and slick transitions, maybe 7-8  feet of vert.  I did pull off an Egg Plant on the coping........ No, actually I was lucky to get half way up the wall.
Shit was fun, I'd love to skate a decent pool, but the Mid-West is not so kind pool wise.

No, it's not..but if you're ever out in Vegas apparently there's a ton of them emptied that eagerly welcome skaters?  I'll keep everyone posted on whether that's a myth or not as soon as i find out for myself.  I've never skated a pool, but they seem super fun/tricky.
