dont beleive the bullshit. the berrics charges the shops to be considered 'important' and listed on their directory. so to the core shops are being hurt once again by the big shops with deep pockets. fuck the berrics

fuck the berrics

I think it's because the Berrics was such a cool ideal that everyone's going ape shit over this. Steve Berra owes skateboarding a huge fucking apology. Not for selling ads, but for using those tactics (e.g., that retarded video).

Yeah I don't feel any pain for the berrics when they've had NBC advertisements.    I think Berra does his best to do what he thinks right though.

A few years too late for one of the shops he grew up skating for in STL.   They wouldn't have been able to afford a google pin and Berrics board to frame and light up anyway.

99% of the time I'm way too lazy to set an avatar. I thought this blessed event warranted a little Photoshop. If this all turns out to be a huge joke, they definitely got me.

$50 a month for the basic plan isnt tooooo bad.

If a shop were to do that and gained 12 new customers who either bought a deck or shoes it would pay for itself over a one year time span.

Seems like a positive thing to me.  $50 a month is pretty cheap for that kind of advertising.
