Working on a documentary right now that will focus on
the evolution of slam dancing/aggresive dancing/hardcore dancing. This doc will analyze the different sub
cultures that form around non-mainstream music(punk,
hardcore, ska etc...) Basically presenting the difference between the smaller, more communal non mainstream genre's vs. what mainstream -mtv, nu-metal shit has done.

Some interviews that we already have in the film are
with:
Freddy Madball
Jimmy Gestapo- murphys law
Less Than Jake
Mustard Plug
Toxic Narcatic
On Broken Wings...
just to name a few.

Check out our website and follow it. let us know what
you think. The website will be more interactive in a
couple weeks that will let people post one what bands
they think we should be interviewing etc.

All the real shows that go on have no worries about the "moshers" we still slam dance and pogo and if you're a prick in the pit you get  escorted out. People use the term 'Mosh" really?

Sorry Scotty....

thats why were making a documentary on non-mainstream music opposed to mainstream nu-metal bullshit that mtv would show.
a real show...local or small venue and good music is different then what mtv would show. Jock mentality comes in when people go and see some nu metal shit and act like assholes becuase they saw people swinging their arms on mtv at a limp bizkit concert. They have no idea how to two step or dance at a show that warrant this type of dancing.

yup, ive seen NYHC,
its from 95 and covers only the NYHC scene from 95.
it doesnt touch on the other genres of music like we want to.

watch American hardcore too.
im not gunna try and defend the project anymore, i appreciate the criticism. thanks

Are you saying this doesn't happen at Madball and Murphie's Law shows?

there are assholes that go to these shows too, but theres a huge difference from going to a madball show at a small venue vs going to bamboozle or ozzfest or some big concerts.  Its different when you are a small show, if your an asshole you will get picked out by either the band or everyone in the crowd.
