Also had reg vans, vans flys, the first airwalks with the lace savers, grey and blue prototypes.....

i had those airwalks! i guess air jordans could be considered an early skate shoe.

I loved them.  I've always had really long, narrow feet, so I remember when I was a kid rolling up all the excess laces into a ball, and just mashing it down with the lacesaver.  After that, my next 3 or 4 pairs of shoes HAD to have lacesavers.

I really like skating in Vans,but I have wide fat feet and wide toes. Vans can be too skinny sometimes.
