Maybe you shouldn't be such a basket case and talk to the man like a gentleman.

That or maybe you should let someone steal from your kid. Mike was right.

I don't see why people care that much. Mike V is constantly getting in fights, why is this any more acceptable than all the other hundreds of times?

dude who took the stick was obviously shitfaced. the whole altercation could've been solved with one well-placed shove. monkeyman v went a bit overboard, unleashing  flurry of punches....

I think he got punched  first. And I'd be pretty livid too if someone stole from my kids.

I think setting a good example for your kids is kind of above getting them a hockey stick

The video/interview was a touch on the melodramatic side.  "Stealing my little girls property...", "The Honda center should be ashamed of their behavior", blah, blah all set to background music that sounded more appropriate for a Vietnam documentary.  Eventually I just started crying and texted a donation to Haiti.

LOLC!!

I can imagine where he's coming from. He should also understand they don't want people fighting at games. Especially someone that's affiliated with them. He could have just bear hugged and wrestled him down. Wouldn't have been as macho as the choice he made though.

The players fight all the time, why shouldn't the fans have the same privileges.

I don't think the guy who got the hockey stick knew it was for the girl because he was watching the hockey stick the whole time. The player had to throw it way over the boards just to get it in the girl's vicinity and it just so happens that it fell right into his hands.

Meow, you tell me, if you catch a hockey stick, not knowing who it was intended for, and some random dude gets in your face telling you the hockey stick is his, what are you supposed to think?

Besides, even if the guy had caught it with selfish intent knowing it was intended for the girl I'm sure Mike V. could have waited until the hype died down to ask the guy if he knew it was intended for the girl and where they could go from there. Who knows? Maybe even the player would have pointed out to the guy that the stick was intended for the girl. And would you keep the stick if the player told you to give it to the girl? I think not.

When the fists started flying, I wonder if the player who threw the stick was thinking, "Shit! Why the hell didn't I just point at the little girl before I threw it!
