I play Tony Hawk's Ride for the Wii because the way the board handles and controls is so realistic. In real life it takes several tries to do a simple kickflip, or heefilp or pop shuvs. Other tricks like hardflips and treflips, you can try them for an hour or two and you don't even land one but just roll away sweaty and frustrated. That is EXACTLY how the Wii game is. Basic tricks for the game are fun like ollies and kickflips. But try doing a kickflip backlip on a flatbar, prepare to be disappointed and frustrated just like in real life.

doesn't that defeat the purpose of a video game (fantasy)? why not just skate for real, in that case?
