Just heard about this. Apparently he died today of stomach cancer.  I liked his stuff with Rainbow and Sabbaths Heaven and Hell is a good record. Not sure how well his solo stuff stands the test of time, but one thing is for sure, he was the real deal.

RIP Dio. Today is my b-day and his RIPday. At least he's not in pain anymore. Stomach Cancer is some gnarly shit.
