I hear there's sick Carl's Jr/Dyrdek park in L.A. now.

sick as in you will get sick from skating after you mow a $7 burger and wash it down with soda filled Dyrdek collectors cup.

Albuquerque's on 40. We have more than 10 parks in the metro area and all the ditches you'd ever need.

10 parks?
Alamosa, the other 2 westside parks, Los Altos and  Calvary are the ones I know. I love the ditches but I guess there's 5 new skateparks? That one above that one pino ditch doesn't count. More options would be cool..    What you got?

So 40 sounds like the way to go! I got a case of beer and a board so if anyone wants to skate I'll be heading that way June 5-10 give me a call 301-305-6524.

Some of them are skate-light parks, but there's a lot of 'crete too: Alamosa, Los Altos, Corrales, Rio Bravo, the new one on Paseo. There's also a hybrid at Cibola that's pretty tight.
Some of the skate-light parks are sick too. Not for the skate-light, but the vibe is hilarious. Like this one downtown, it's called Bum Park because, well, it's full of bums. You're pretty much guaranteed to catch a bum fight there, plus Rocky Norton sightings all the time. I think he might live near there.

when i was in houston i stayed at the sunset suits... it was like 50 a night (for 3 people) and was only like 15 min from the park (15 minutes PA speed... about 45 texas speed). it was pretty nice except the lurkin hooker out front and the fact that a car was on fire on the highway which was about 10 feet from our door, but id have to say that actually enhanced the trip for me.
ps drink a lone star for me please

I've been planning this since fall.  a friend of mine and I plan to take the trip sometime in summer.  he drives a '69 VW bus so itll be pretty intense.
