Dudes, Edgar has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, I cant deal , fuck... dudes been with me skate wise since the early 80's... come on, time to give some group love..... I'm bawling my ass off right now... please tell me this is not true... I need him around....

I was a lil grom and I went downtown to skate I was probably 13  and the first time leaving the local schoolyard.. and I saw Edgar do a huge fast plant off a hand rail... Wow we were skater geeks.....  I asked "what's your name... you like the punk rock?"  He said yup... Then we went to see all the punk shows together... wow.. this cannot be true...  fuck no... the guy is/ used to be  skating.....  I cant deal with it all right now....    no fucking way.......

Sorry to hear that man. You sound like a wreck about it and it sucks . We'll all lose someone close to us because of cancer some day, it's inevitable. You never know though, trust me, there has been weirder stories than someone kicking cancer's ass, so hang tight for him.

Damn, that's harsh dude.  But like they've been saying, try to stay up for you and your
buddy, and focus on the now.  You both need each other, especially now, so try to feed off each other, and get those good vibes flowin!  Hope he gets well man!  You all are in my thoughts and

Thanks everybody.... I had to get really shitty yesterday when I found out. I'll probably deal a little better sober and really hungover today.  We're going to get through this. That fucker is not going anywhere anytime soon.

I'm glad that you have a buddy who seems so cool.  Try to focus on that gift and not the sudden realization that it might be finite.  Not that I would ever begrudge someone some grief over a sick friend but I think you get the idea.
