I hate how at every park skaters wanna play SKATE just to make them feel better about themselves, even though they see that the person they asked isn't even a challenge.

As you get older it's hard finding like minded people who are still down to skate. I dont know many people in their 40's who still approach it with the same drive as I do. It makes me hang out with much younger people cause they have the fire but at a point, it's much nicer to skate with some peers.

i usually head out by myself. most times i run into some people i know, even if i am almost twice most of their ages.  i like hitting the park at night, lone wolf session. nobody around.
