ok, well i was going to make a video... i still might, im not sure... anyway, heres what i thought about it
first, id like to thank aaron for sending me the griptape for free. that was totally rad. its also cool that they make it in 11 inchs wide, which makes life a bit easier for anyone riding big boards, like myself.
skating it was really weird. it grips ok, i wouldnt say it grips great, but it was alright. its not even the grippiness of the board that was a problem, it just gripped weird. its sorta hard to explain, but it just didnt grip the way normal grip does, which really threw me off. maybe if i hadnt spent 10 years on regular grip, i would have really like it, but that change over was really strange.
anyway, to make this short, it grips pretty good, but it grips strangly. if your really worried about ripping your shoes, this is probably a really great product to try out, but it really just wasnt right for me. I really do think it is a great idea, and griptech should continue to push the idea, but i just think it needs to feel more like regular grip
