I totally agree on the prices of first time decks. My first complete was a RAGE complete, a whopping total of $50. My second one was when I upgraded and my third (current one) one is a little more of an upgrade to my second one because I ordered it online from a skate company.

I can honestly say my first board came from a legit shop. iy was a brian wenning mini. I got it because I got thps 4 for christmas.

Holy shit, I just remembered my first board was an old school "Nash". I rode it with the trucks on backwards for like 2 months. That was harsh.

my first skateboard was given to me by my baby sitter.  it was a Hobie with clay wheels.  looked a lot like this...



Second board was this...



got it with trackers and kryptonics wheels.  It wasn't long after that i discovered it would go a lot faster down a hill than i could run.
