That game is so buggy.  The new spots are rad, the new skaters are rad, but the rest sucks.

I haven't really played it yet, but it looks cool how you can move shit around and create your own spots. Plus they're hooking up a lot of my friends with fat checks to be envolved, so I got to support em. It seems better then Tony Hawk's...

Better than THPS, yes.  But the whole getting off your board and moving shit is the worst part of the game if you ask me.  It had potential, but EA really didn't deliver.

They did do good by adding inverts, footplants, no complies, finger flips, and shit like that though.  And if you take away shooting photos with Burnett, there's really no career mode going on.

Don't get me wrong, I really like playing the game.  Guess I just had higher expectations.

I hate how  everything is lumped together in skate 2, they have a few really fun spots like the fun track and a few other things, but overall the game is bassicly the same as the first one with the expetion of a few changes.

I think it's insane how people recreate video parts on that game and post em on youtube...

^ I know, too much time on their hands. crailtap posts them sometimes when they do a girl/choco/lakai rider. one dude did mariano's part and even matched up his outfits.

bowser's critique is spot-on. the game is fun - even my friends that don't skate like it - but they did pooch the off-board mechanics pretty bad. its basically a (slightly) improved version of the first, instead of being a whole new game. but I'll admit its eaten up a lot of my winter nights the last few weeks.

lol that was the main thing skate 2 focused on, it would be stupid if people let it go to waste. Your on a skateboarding message board right now, if thats not a waste of time i don't know what is.

The rails one isn't that hard.  I gave up on the invert on a basketball backboard challenge because it's extremely lame.

And it involves the sucky 'move these random QP's laying around' feature.

Did they get Jeremy Wray to say "It's in the game!" during the credits?

Nice of them to hook up your friends, but they're also raking in the dough off of them and keeping kids from actually going out and skating.
