Rat Nuts were used for mounting your Rib Bones, Nose Bones and Tail Bones. I did like skating Rat Bones and at one time I skated a Vato Rat.

Come to think of it I don't remember any Powell Rat truck mounting hardware. I'm probably wrong though.

you are correct. the rat nuts were for all the "accessories".  they did make 'em for trucks, but from what i remember, you had to drill the holes slightly larger to make them fit. stupid really.  always came loose.  i also remember  the t-nuts.  a cheaper version of what powell offered.

how about the inserts that expedition 1 used? snowboard styles yo.

I had rat nuts for truck hardware.  Yup, had to drill from the top to make 'em fit.  And they always came loose.

What were the bolts from back in the 80s where the head of the bolts had like two bits on either side so that you hammered the bolts into the deck and they griped so you didn't have to use a screwdriver when you tightned the nuts.  They use to cause all kinds of pressure cracks.  I just can't remember what they were called, they might have been made by powell peralta.
