Anyone ever have plantar fibromatosis?

Not sure if it's the same but I have a similar thing, just a little bigger, on the bottom of my pushing foot. I googled it and found this...

Quote
Trauma to the plantar fascia is thought to be a primary cause of plantar fibromatosis. The trauma may be from a puncture through the bottom of the foot or from repetitive impact from activities such as running or climbing. It is also thought that thickening and tightening of the plantar fascia caused by plantar fasciitis may lead to tears in the tissue, causing plantar fibromas to occur.

I had farciitis or fasciitis (sp? whatevs) on the same foot I months later had a fracture on, I was supposed to take pills for that but the pills gave me a terrible stomachache, the pain kinda stopped and then I fractured it.

I managed to get a pretty bad bout of plantar fasciitis.  If you're not familiar, it's basically an overuse injury to the tendon at the bottom of the foot caused by impact of overpronation.  I got it in the foot that I push with so I think it was too much pushing and less impact related but it hurt like a mother and after a day pr two of  skating I would walk like a gimp for awhile.

It sounds similar to what you may be dealing with so I'll tell you what worked for me.  I scooped up a few rolls of athletic tape and taped my foot as shown in the link below before I went out to skate.  If your injury is bad enough it's helps a lot to tape it like this anytime you are going to be walking on it for extended periods of time as well...

Additionally, after you are done skating take a couple of Ibuprofen to help with imflammation and alternate with an ice pack and heating pad for 15 minutes each.  This helped a lot and I never had to take any time off.

My deal lasted a few months, finally went away completely and hasn't come back.

I had plantar fasciitis once that flared up after I kicked a taxi cab.  I couldn't walk for a day and I got fired for missing work.  Eve when I limped in to grab my paycheck the next day.  Fuck you, Burrito Loco!

I prefer quitting shitty jobs. Because you know they're shitty, so you aren't going to use them as a reference, so you can do something really crazy/stupid on your way out.

Dammit, you're right! I didn't even think about that. I guess I didn't really think these places would have unemployment insurance.

I think in Illinois you can collect it if you quit, if you prove you quit because the environment was negative.
