the same set of bushings since the stage 5's came out? you're either lying, or you don't skate that often if a set of bushings has lasted that long without disintegrating.

I remember a recent JUICE interview with Steve Alba and he was stressing about his box of old, out of production Powell bushings that's running low.  Maybe the village elder is on the same trip and had a stock pile of old Indy bushings that were too good not to buy a 50 year supply of.

I remember in the days of yore when I was a kiddo and I used to skate fifty miles of cobble-stoned roads in the snow (one way) just to barter my hard earned whale fat and hand-churned butter for a razor that I would then use to remove what remained of my foreskin, eyelids, nipples , whatever to fashion my own bushings out of.  I would skate that shit just as well as any of these modern day whippersnappers with their flippity-hippity do whopping popsicle stick tom foolery.
