Title: Adam Yauch / MCA Post by: el ogrehound 3000 on May 04, 2012, 12:14:52 PM Always tied to the skateboarding scene, rocked Thrasher gear, and was part of the legendary Beastie Boys. The group of 3 white kids from New York were not only partially responsible for the birth of mainstream Hip-Hop and the rap/rock crossover, but also put Def Jam Records and Super Producer Rick Rubin on the map.
Licensed to Ill was the first LP I ever purchased and I will continue to Fight for my Right to Party and someday pass on my collection of Beastie Boys music to my kids. RIP BEASTIE I BE.
