Title: Looking for old boards to refurbish, give away

I live in northern Virginia and was hoping to start more or less a non-profit where I would get old skateboards people were otherwise getting rid of or didn't need, I'd refurbish them and then hopefully find ways to get them to kids who couldn't afford decent boards -- any suggestions on how I might get old boards for this purpose?  Thanks for any suggestions!
