Title: Anyone in the Manhattan area down to skate?

I'm an 18 year old kid that lives in Manhattan, NYC. No one at my school skateboards so I've never really been able to hook up with a crew.  I'm really pretty amateur when it comes to skating as I only skate for transportation and doing a couple of tricks. If anyone is down to skate around and maybe teach me a few things it would be rad.
