Title: I think I know why MJ got skater of the year

Even the biggest Marc Johnson fans had to be a bit surprised the dude got skater of the year. The only things he did came out after he got skater of the year so it left me thinking wtf?

Well, I figure he got it because this is the last year he'll really be relevant as a proffessional skateboarder. Don't get me wrong, the dude is a legend and has a great style, some of the most aesthetically pleasing feet I've ever seen. what?

But yeah, skating is progressing so fast and tranny is catching on so much that if Marc wouldn't have gotten it this year, he never would have.

i think he won because he has been ripping hard for years and deserves it to recognize his skating career as a whole. also, his fully flared part was pretty epic. pretty dam epic i think he deserves a pretty big award for that in my opinion, and video part of the year doesnt really cut it. he deserves more for such sick footage.
