I've always had really long, narrow feet, so I remember when I was a kid rolling up all the excess laces into a ball, and just mashing it down with the lacesaver. After that, my next 3 or 4 pairs of shoes HAD to have lacesavers.

First pair of real live you betcha skate shoes were the Vision Street Wear suede with the rubber toe cap/ollie patches (I miss those shoes!). After that it was Airwalk city for a LONG time until the other companies started up.
