I think you should take it back to the roots. Work on flatland and oldschool. Not a lot of people can do this stuff and those who can cant do it very well. This is where are skating today came from. Instead of people throwing down there footage of there stock tricks make people go outside the box and go back to fundamentals..balance and solid board control. if you do sketchy flatland more than likely it wont get landed....precision is wheres it at.

I think that the boneless idea will definitely get you more entries; it's an easy trick to learn and do on different stuff. It will make for a better montage too.

Personally I'd like to see a fast plant to fakie contest, but you probably wouldn't get very many entries.

if there isn't already something lined up (doesn't seem like it), naysayer is down to put a couple boards toward the cause for a contest. maybe best two entries get a board each, runner up gets a shirt?

I haven't bothered to read this thread, but if you want more entries, just keep it as simple as you have it.

You could do one for each of the ideas listed in the poll and it can become a regular thing.

• Wallride/Pole Jam
• Best Boneless montage
• Manual pad
• Ledge
• Most stairs/Biggest Gap
• Lip tricks
• 2-trick lines
• Random Park Footage
• Random Street Footage
• Hillbomb
• Highest ollie UP stairs
• Best hippie jump over/down something
• No complys
• Random Circus tricks
• etc

As for confirmed contestants, I can just bug the local skatepark owner to film for random kids that come in that are interested in the contest. I don't have a camera right now, so I doubt I'll be able to do much until I save up a few more dollars.
