I'm going to be 30 in 6th months.  I'm almost there I guess.  Over the years, I've had multiple knee surgeries, multiple broken everything, and I even had to stop skating for a few years.   None of my friends where I live now skate, but I met someone through a mutual friend that was talking about building a ramp in his yard.  I'd built more than a few halfpipes when I was younger, I was ready for this.  We put together a nice mini in a few weekends worth of work and it's been some serious good times ever since. I think we'd build a vert ramp if we had the room.

I'm almost 29, and I still skate like I did when I was 14 (granted, flatground, ledges, and red curbs in Plan B videos were what inspired me then, so it's been pretty easy on my body through the years)....The kids at the parks don't make me feel old, I'd rather stomp a 3 flip on a steep bank than fly out of a bowl any day of the week.

im only 16, im not old, but i do have a mini ramp in my back yard. it took me 2 years to save up for, and it was the best investment i ever made. If you live in southern oregon and you want a professional to build it for you, i know a guy that will build you one for a thousand bucks.

I like to think that skateboarding can't see age.
therefore making skaters equal or else were just like jocks or preps, classifying people.

I've been skating since I was 7 turning 29 soon got a kid and a real job still don;t act like an adult.  Still skate bowls, ditches, pools and ramps whenever possible.  To old to throw myself down gaps and stair cases anymore which is fine by my. I'll be dead or in a wheel chair before I quit riding.
