its all about stage volume. my drummer is a pretty hard hitter, and i've got a super powerful amp, so as long as the soundguy gets some vocals and the laptop in the mains, we really don't give a fuck. too many dudes working in small rooms try to put everything in the mains, which usually just results in a lodness competition between the stage volume and the mains... most small venues really don't need much in the way of pa, anyway.

this is exactly how you deal with shitty sound, which is what i said instead of whinning about stuff that is not under my control like what the sound guy for this or that venue wants to pull off.

I agree with small venues and stage volume being good enough, I can hear everything. Tell me Numeral, how do you get a good mix when you play a big venue?

And the name of your band is really Disorder?

OK, fine. You've never heard of Disorder, you're in a punk/thrash band and have never heard Disorder......... Yeah that's fine...... Strange, but fine.... My new bands gonna be called Crass......

The other question was how do you get a good mix in a big venue if you don't mic your guitar.

i never said i have never heard about disorder dude
can you read?

what i said is, the name is disorder in spanish (desorden) since i am currently living in a spanish speaking country, something i've said now four times in this very same forums, was that not clear enough that i needed to post it again?

stick with the shitty comebacks and inability to read and that will still prove my point.

Is that your band?

And how do you get a decent mix in a big venue if you don't mic your guitar?

Maybe it's just me, but I need to hear the guitar. We do a lot of improv and jamming.

just have him play loud as fuck, too, and get a little closer to the guitarist when you need to hear him.
