Crede is a player.  He wants to play baseball.  We didn't steal him away with ridiculous amounts of money or prestige.  He needed a team and we needed a third baseman.  The comparison to Damon is completely unfair.  Damon is a smug asshole with loyalty to nothing, including the game. 

I'm still quite fond of AJ Pierzynski.  I think he should be considered a hero in Minnesota and I hate the idiot fans who boo him when he triumphantly returns to the Metrodome home plate despite the fact that the White Sox are the most evil team in baseball history next to the Yankees.

I actually have respect for some Sox fans

i came to appreciate them a little more last summer. i went to a yankees/sox game at yankee stadium and these 4 fuckers in the bleachers beside us were diehard sox fans while the rest of the section wasn't at all. but these guys had some balls sitting back there with their bright red jerseys. a-rod took some of the heat off of those guys cuz he grounded out into double plays to end the inning twice

See...  it is possible to have a discussion about baseball without just saying "Yankees suck 'cause they got money".  it's fine to hate on the Yankees, but please explain yourself in a thoughtful way.  I have a strong dislike for the Red Sox, but I have respect for the team and their fans.   A little tact is always nice.
