I was playing COD:WOW & I told this one guy to stop being a little bitch. Well, I wasn't aware that this douche lived down the street and he busted into my friend's place & pulled a gun on us. The fucker didn't realize that he was outnumbered so we took his gun & threw his ass out.

I like to keep a "street set up" with a 7.8ish board, a "park set up" 8" and up, and a cruiser anywhere from 9" -10".

I used to skate 7.75" - 7.8" when i was all into flips and street.

the more tranny i skate the bigger it gets. I was just skating an 8.37 and it felt like pure gold when i was doing quick slashers in the corner. Really though it all depends what you feel comfy with. I've seen people skate 8.5's on street and kill it same as 7.5" not so much of the smaller boards on tranny. More board better feel for me, i'de say if you're gonna skate tranny step up to larger boards, if not skate what feels like a comfortable size. But thats just me and im not really that smart.

Consider a 10 x 30 weight training, or better yet,  being in the on deck circle.
