i dont see how it's possible for a pizza's bread to get fully cooked all the way through... so i'm not too into pizza.

i usually just lurk around partys and steal people's crusts

BUT, if its all homemade and stuff, and the crust is super thin all the way through like a cracker, then i can deal

here is the way i see it.

Sausage and hot peppers is my favorite

pepperoni is my second.

New York has the best pizza.  I ain't talking Little Ceasars, Poppa John's, or the rest of the chain crap.  I'm talking Mom and Pop little pizza shops.

As you go west across the country, pizza gets shitier and shitier.

When you get to the west coast it's almost inedible.  It's all gourmet, brick oven fired bullshit.

Why can't someone on the west coast make a decent slice???

whole earth bakery in the east village has the best pizza, hands down! all vegan, all amazing.



that was my typical dinner when going to nyu. a slice and a china cola.

and there is no folding involved with that pizza. sorry NYers.

second best pizza goes to karen's cooked (or whatever the name of that place is) in chicago. all vegan too.



i don't smell like patchouli or BO, chuck.

I lived in Montana, Colorado, New Mexico, and Oregon.  I couldn't find decent pizza anywhere.  The Mexican food on the other hand was out of this world.

I have not spent much time in California, so maybe I am being a bit over critical.  Where can I get a decent slice if I come out there?

It varies from city to city, but good places do exist, you just have to do your homework.

And as far as mexican food goes, I doubt you've had the best based on the states you mentioned.  San Diego is the benchmark for mexican food if you ask me.  Up here it all sucks outside the Mission dist. in SF.

A general rule of thumb is that the closer you get to Mexico, the better the food.

hawaiin style from abbys. cold, leftovers from papa murphys is always good, and i tried this pizza the other day from this pizza place called the "cowboy" and it has all kinds of meat, with pineapple, onion rings and BBQ sauce, that was some good shit.
