In the van wastell is pro thread (that got deleted for some reason) EB made an arguement saying van wastell isn't creative and that Koston and MJ are, Malinas and some other guy said that they make skateboarding look like THPS and you agreed. I'm into Julien Stranger type shit, Wenning type ledge shit, Oyola-type: "skates like noone is filming you" type shit, Gnarly Gravette and Machnau type shit, Hauling ass, I keep an open mind. The only types of skates I'm really not into are robots or fresh as fuck looking guys who look like they gonna bust out some fucked up shit but do varial flips and double flips and late shoves and willy grinds and really have no real style.

Ledge skaters can have style, just not the really boring ones doing varial flip 5-0's who have no actual style.

I'm not saying they don't have real style and by all means they can skate that way, it's just not very fun for me to watch and it's really the only type of skating I don't like to watch. If someone does a varial flip 5-0 not forcing it and trying to make themselves look like PJ Ladd then I'll like the person's skating. I can appreciate ALL types of skateboarding if the person makes it look good.

why does it even matter. the only reason you talk about it is to make your skating seem more "legit" then the next guys.
a lot of people who skate dont do it for the "style points" like all you young kids think, they do it for fun. so keep it that way and quit being a judgemental asshole
