thanks guys! overall there are 20+acres of land in the woods of maine,we can build off of the existing piece either way as much as we want. after we pour the QP we are going to try to get some corners going. we are thinking a fishpond/snake run/mogul pumpbump area. i will post up some overview pics so you can see what we are planning... all are welcome to skate, just bring some bags of crete!!!!

also wanted to put this out there. we used all scrap wood for the forms and we bought concrete with money that we got from collecting cans from around the existing ramp!

I have a DIY story.  Earlier today I went down to my local skate shop and the owner was telling me he needed help to build a transition to bank wall at a nearby park. I oblige and after picking up supplies, we get there and it's a bit sketchy, there is a museum nearby and a decent amount of people walking around... but there are a lot of trees and we are slightly secluded and decide to go for it.  Fast forward about an hour and a half and we have a decent amount of work done:

After that pic we had layed a bit more crete down before we get shut the fuck down.  Two museum staff workers walk up and ask us what we're doing.  In short we cleaned up everything, packed up and left.  Obviously its a bummer but we were stoked they didn't call the police on us.  Oh well, at least I got a good workout hauling all those bags of concrete to and fro.

dude- either work under cover of darkness, or look legit. you'd be surprised what you can get away with if you're wearing a reflective vest and a hardhat. also, have one dude on hand to just hold a clipboard and look like the boss.

wait, so you took all the concrete your laid back out?

and like bailgun said, confidence will go a long way. as long as you act like you are supposed to be doing what you are doing and make up a story to go along, you should be fine most of the time. next time just say you were hired to fix the wall due to stress cracks from erosion or something. haha
