Chill Out park has been getting some upgrades. This is some video I took yesterday. We have since built the transition up to the wall of the barbecue, and a removable bank/roll-in that covers the stairs.

Where's the pics? How much vert did you leave on the wall? What are you gonna do with the grassy corner with the wall? Inquiring minds want to know...

All excellent questions.

Don't have any new pics, but will take some when it is first skated, likely tomorrow.  Left 3 cement blocks worth of vert. the corner with the grass and concrete wall will be a qp on the left, into a corner, qp, then a hip near the right end of the wall.  I wanna do it with enough platform that you can roll in, or roll out and into the ramp, but it'll be tight.  Also wanna do it with pool coping and one row of tiles along the top, but these haven't been decided yet.

Cool

...wanna do it with pool coping...

...have you ever messed with poured in place coping? it's way better than blocks, imo, since there's no seams, so it doesn't get knuckled out. plus, you can dye it, expose the aggregate, and go around corners blocks never could.

This is how I want to do my next project, if you use the right mixture the concrete will feel like it oozes SAlba sauce

Nice! Makes my Blender senses tingle...

Is the city cool with it? If I tried to make my local park fun the city would close the park for a week and tear down what I build

the city is cool with it but it took a lot of going to bull shit meetings of red tape but we stuck with it. after we convinced them that we knew what we were doing they said do whatever you want as long as we dont have to pay for anything...

Me and Macchan worked our asses off the past couple days to get this thing well underway.  And it will get pool coping. Very thick pool coping. There's a sample on the flat in front of the new section.
