I'm just stoked on people who came from my region of the world, not trying to start some east Vs. west shit. Just like with hip hop, someone in the north east can relate more to Wu or Biggie or Nas and someone down south can relate more to Gucci or Wayne.

The majority of you are old men who have admitted that you can't ollie or you can only ollie (with the exception of Dean and Eby) so your shoes last you 6 months. I can't wait until this comment turns into proof that im not a "true" skater because of course, having the ability to progress in skateboarding and having fun at the same time is impossible. Because I totally just grind ledges and skate flatground all day.

Well on here, that makes you a jock who hucks himself down 15 stairs and one ups his friends and skates competitions. Alot of the people on here talk shit on certain skaters because they're "boring, which apparently means doing technical tricks. When you can actually do some of the tricks done in videos, it makes you actually appreciate what those guys are doing so the opinion of a 25 year old who can't kickflip is more narrow-minded than that of a 14 year old who can. Switch noseblunts, tre flip noseslides, you have no idea how hard those tricks actually are.

I'm the same way, I understand BUT saying that Chris Cole and P Rod straight up suck or shouldn't be pro is dumb. I won't watch them but I don't say that "they're nothing special" because they are "something special." What I don't get is, in the 90's when someone did a really fucked up trick everyone would be stoked on it and now when someone does a fucked up trick people rag on them and call them jocks and "nothing special."
