manual with two boards.

Its called a "Daffy". invented back when manuals were just called wheelies.

otherwise known as a two board Daffy. why? who knows because when using one board its just called a one footed nose or tail wheelie.

when dinasaurs roamed the earth.

The name was taken from a ski trick.

no habitat section.

here is my review: http://elasticback.blogspot.com/2009/02/mind-field-premier.html

the premier was nuts. full of people. I couldn't get into the first screening even with jake trying to help get me in. actually when he went to the bathroom after the first one they wouldn't let him back in for the second one either...and dude has one of the best parts in the video! then kids mobbed them for the second screening and i couldn't get into that one either...but i made sure to get into the third. it was worth it though, glad i stuck around.

good review. haven't seen it yet but thanks for being honest with it.

guess you don't like the switch mongo push much? haha. I do it (most of the time anyway). like mike carroll said...something along the lines of "I'm old school, so when I skate fakie, I push fakie".

no doubt, i don't like reading reviews in mags that always just glorify every video. all good videos have bad qualities too, say them. i also review them based on my standards for the company, so what might be good for one company might not be for another.

here is my beef with switch mongo pushing. if you are going to learn how to switch tree a big set of stairs, you could learn how to push switch...it is a much easier thing to learn. i would rather see a part with no switch tricks than a part full of switch mongo pushes and tricks that look way worse than they would look if the person did them regular. my thing is, if you are going to skate switch, do it right.

don't contribute to the problem, bucky. as smokey said: only you can prevent mongo pushing!

i think certain people make switch mongo pushing look awesome, like alex carolino or pat washington. but sometimes i see a guy pushing backfoot and he looks like he is hardly getting any power at all, to me that is lack of style. tony montgomery bootleg 3000 burnt cat footy comes to mind(even tho it is still amazing east coast footy, it just looks like he is struggling with his pushes at times). mariano is like the pioneer for the proper way to do it.
