i liked mikey's part quite a bit. i like his style a lot. while it wasn't the best, if i were to order the parts from best to worst, he would be in the top half. he skates smoother than anyone else in the video.

Top 5 things I liked about Mind Field:

1.  Heath had last part, it was sick, and "Speedway" was the song from the best Morrissey album ever.  (Vauxall and I if you were curious)
2.  Grant Taylor and that chain link door thing.  Hot damn.
3.  AVE had a raw ass part.  Reminded me of years since past.
4.  The replay value is high, and I don't say that about too many skate vids.
5.  They kept the Workshop vibe with the artsy stuff and the editing fit the music very well.

*For those of you saying Heath should not have had the last part, you need to sober up and get your mind right.

Got mine today...unbelievable skating, good tunes (gah Animal Collective!!!  So good.)  One of the best videos I've ever seen, personal favorite after one viewing being Grant Taylor.

Am I the only one that doesn't mind Burton? Most legit snowboarders skate as well, weren't the first snowboarders, skateboarders?

Not even snowboarders like Burton.

Says who? Burton has some of the best products on the market. They have the best boots, the best bindings, their boards are some of the best shapes. Lots of people that i know who live on mountains across the west coast love burton too.

i have been snowboarding for 10 years, i fucking suck, but i have always been hyped on Forum. I have this feeling like dudes who are actually into snowboarding would hate on Forum much like we hate on world industries or element or whatever; but then i realized dudes who are into snowboarding are mostly "bros" from up in aspen and shit, and they dont know whats cool anyway.

thats the board i have its from 99 or 2000 i think, its pretty cool, i hope the link worked. fear and loathing is a pretty sweet movie, good idea for a graphic.

I find it economically disadvantageous for me to snowboard.    Its fun as hell to go fast but that's about it.     I'd rather have a cheaper rush bombing Upper to Lower Haight.....

I take my negative comments back about MT.   After watching the vid a bunch more his part has grown on me.    I don't think I'm sold on his steez but its gotten 20X better since the little kid we once knew.

I saw Heaths part last night at the park. Absolutely rediculous as usual. And I got to catch omars ender with that crazy double set.

I would seriously love Burton forever if they would pay for some of the music rights so that they can put out an AWS box set with Timecode, Memory Screen and Photosynthesis. I just really want to own a copy, even if it means buying a VHS version of it, I'll find my old VCR somewhere.

i don't know about "love burton forever," but i might stop talking so much shit about them if they did that.

Yeah that whole peanut gallerly posted up to his right. I'm sure they've forgotten about him doing that by now. Same with all of the other local spectators you see in parts.

the part that made me really laugh was that the kid in the dc shirt fronting like he skates was the one clapping and blowing the moment, while the girls that were posted up there had the respect to wait till he was safely rolling away from BOTH parts of that trick to start clapping.

and i'd be willing to bet that they'll remember seeing that go down every time they pass by that spot again. even to someone with no understanding of skateboarding at all can appreciate the skill and commitment it took to do that.

except for mister "i'll just make a bunch of distracting noise during the most crucial split seconds of this intense moment that i'm privileged enough to witness."

Just watched it this morning. It was good. Some thoughts: Jason Dill had not one flip trick (at least give us a manny pivot manny flip out or something), I would absolutely love if Mikey Taylor took his hammers and threw them in lines, Tyler Bledsoe's part was pretty intense, now am in love with Heath Kircharts first song, Heath Kircharts thanks "nobobdy", wow. Also, Berra's part was better than Dyrdek's imo (maybe because his song wasn't public enemy or some shit, idk).
